Virat Kohli escapes a plumb lbw appeal

Virat Kohli and his men were the winners in the second game of the t20 series. Kohli was lucky to have some really good chances in the game and that made him and his side bounce back in the match. England could have done the same but they did not.

Kohli was not given lbw and that was his first lucky break. Chris Jordan had him here but the umpire did not give this out. This ball was bowled at a high pace and it was going straight towards the stumps. The umpire still missed this one and made England players frustrated.

Kohli played this one across the line. He misread the bounce on this one. He knew that he was going across on this one but he was confident about the bounce. The ball did not get the bounce which Kohli expected and this was very close. In fact it was out the moment the ball made an impact of his pads.
Jordan and team England were certain about it. They all made a huge appeal but the umpire remain unmoved. At the end it was he who could have given Kohli out or not out and he went with not out. This was a big disappointment for the England side. They were not expecting this. Kohli got his lucky break though.
