Australia has declared their second innings after losing 5 wickets. Pakistan now has to make 490 runs to win this game. It is a very tough score for Pakistan especially when they have got a very fragile batting line up. Australia in a commanding position here.
Australia lost their first 5 batters today after they did not enforce follow on against Pakistan. They batted again and now they have given Pakistan a big total to chase. Amir, Wahab, Rahat and Yasir all picked up wickets in the second innings.
Warner was the first wicket to fell for Australia. This was a short ball outside the off stump from the left arm pace bowler Amir. Warner went to pull this one on the leg side and failed. He was not behind the line and length of the ball. The ball climbed onto him and Warner could not manage this one properly. The ball hit the top half and went as one of the easiest catch for Wahab. He took this one with ease. Then Rahat Ali joined the action taking down Renshaw in the slips.
This was the best ball from Pakistani bowlers in the whole match. It was pitched fuller and towards the pads. At the last moment the ball swung away from the left hander. It hit the outside edge of the bat and Younis Khan took this one down in the second slip. Fantastic ball from Rahat Ali and a good neat catch from Younis. Smith was the third wicket for Pakistan. The Australian captain continued showing his good form with the bat. After hitting the fifty he chipped this one straight to long on.
Smith Wanted to hit the ball on the leg side. The ball was a flighted one and Smith used his feet to just drive this one through the leg side. Now the idea was right here but Smith fumbled with the execution. The ball hit the outside edge of the bat and went high in the air towards Rahat Ali at long on. Khawaja was caught brilliant by Misbah off Rahat. This was a stunning piece of fielding from the Pakistani skipper. He hit the dive at the right time and pluck this catch to his left. The ball was flying away from him and hence Misbah had to really judge this one perfectly. Maddison was the fifth wicket to fall. He was caught on the leg side deep by Babar Azam. Wahab Riaz picked him up and that was the end of the Australian innings as well.
